Becky's Dance Competition Team
Becky's Dance Studio is proud to be home of a nationally recognized competition team! This group of highly dedicated and very talented individuals are selected through an audition process. Dancers are divided onto teams that will help them to develop and utilize their skills to the fullest as well as work well together on stage. Our competition teams are instructed by Suzy Goodin, who started the competition program in 2004. Since our original team of 9 dancers in 2004 we have grown at times to include up to 4 separate groups with almost 50 dancers!
The competition team has danced at national competitions in Branson, MO, Wisconsin Dells, WI and Minneapolis, MN as well as numerous regional competitions. They have also danced at Harlem Globetrotters games, Community Memorial Hospital Association's annual Hospital Gala, and various local venues. They strive to give back to the community that gives them so much support by volunteering to perform at local nursing homes and community events. They also participate in the Salvation Army bell ringing campaign and are currently focusing on spreading breast cancer awareness throughout our area.
